Are you addicted to chocolate? Yesssss!! I have frantic enthusiasm for chocolate! So if you are, could you imagine how fascinating it performs in your jewelry? It not only speaks to the obsession, addiction and passion that is common in chocoholics, but also illustrates the personal style and extra glamour. In this article, I’ll introduce you to this alluring diamond, follow to read:
Facts about chocolate diamond

Overview

Chocolate diamonds are a genuine diamond that contains a brown-colored tint. Just like other colored diamonds, they are not worthy of inclusion in jewelry. Thus most apply for industrial use. But they gradually became more exclusive in the marketing campaign by Le Vian. The name “chocolate” applies only to a particular color and grade of the brown diamond. Radiation can affect color, as can trace elements like nickel and nitrogen.

Origin

Like colorless diamonds, brown diamonds come from all over the globe. In the mid-1980s, a new mine opened in Australia which now accounts for almost 30% of annual global diamond production. 80% of all diamonds from the Argyle are brown. In addition, they mainly originate from Australia, Angola, Borneo, Brazil, and the Congo, while Le Vian sources their chocolate diamonds from the Argyle mine in Australia mostly.

History

The Golden Jubilee Diamond
The Golden Jubilee Diamond

It’s the largest cut brown diamond in the world found in 1985. It weighs over 700 carats! This diamond was eventually cut down to 545 carats and given to King Bhumibol Adulyadej on his 50th coronation anniversary.

The Earth Star Diamond

Another notable diamond is the Earth Star Diamond. Its origin story is a bit more unique because it originates from a 2500-foot strip of a volcanic pipe of diamonds. What impressed us a lot was its extraordinary brilliance.

  • For the business, chocolate diamonds can foster your potential talent, fulfill your responsibilities and turn over a new possibility;

Care Instructions
